Sources guarantee that the principal cast would have raked $1.05 million for each episode had there been a fifth season. As a general rule, Netflix’s unique shows tend to not go past four seasons to keep away from higher creation costs.

The goal for this season is to try and get to the different locations where our characters could actually live.
“On My Block Season 5” is a series of videos that follows a group of teenagers from an inner city housing project as they grow up and try to make their way in the world. The characters include: Jelani, Jamal, T-Dog, Travion, Kadeem, Khalil, Aisha, and their mother, Keisha. These are the stories of their hopes, fears, triumphs, and heartbreaks. The cast of the show was absolutely delightful to watch. I would rate this series a 10/10. We have seen some bad shows on TV. This show wasn’t one of them. I highly recommend this show for fans of “Breaking Bad” and “Better Call Saul”. The season 5 of this show premieres on Netflix on April 16, 2019. If you haven’t watched this show, I highly recommend it.
